Delete your MySpec account

If you can still sign in, you can delete your account immediately without waiting for us. Open Settings and choose Delete Account. For your protection we email you a secure confirmation link first — nothing is deleted until you confirm it, and the link expires after one hour.

If you can no longer sign in, or you would rather we handled it for you, send us the request below. We reply to the address you give us and delete the account within 30 days.

Your profile and the personal details in it, your photos, your profile answers, your likes, matches and conversations, the messages you sent and received, your notifications, your email preferences and any boosts.

We keep payment records, moderation and safety records, and verification outcomes where Nigerian tax, accounting, fraud-prevention or dispute obligations require it, and for as long as we need them to show that every member who messaged was verified. These are kept only for those purposes and are not used to contact you again. Any live membership is cancelled, so nothing renews.

Deleting from Settings is immediate. A request sent from this page is actioned within 30 days, and we reply to the address you give us to confirm.

You can also ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, have it corrected, or ask us to restrict how it is used. Our Privacy Policy explains these rights and how to exercise them.
